What is Ethical Culture?
Ethical Culture is a humanistic religious and educational movement inspired by the ideal that the supreme aim of human life is working to create a more humane society. Our faith is in the capacity and responsibility of human beings to act in their personal relationships and in the larger community to help create a better world. Who are our Members?
Members of the Ethical Society Without Walls live throughout the United States and in Canada. We hope to have members throughout the world. Our members are people who are seeking to live the most ethical lives possible and want to share their ethical journey with others.
We are a new congregation with an online presence as of August 2006. We seek people who want to have a unique opportunity to help grow a new Ethical Culture Society. As we grow, ESWoW members will develop new programs and classes,form a governing body, recruit new members, and participate in the American Ethical Union (the federation of all Ethical Culture Societies).
